Delay in receiving order

Ordered two pairs early January. First there was a problem with frames so I had to choose another pair, now there is a problem with lens coating. Wish I hadn't bothered. Still not ready. Wish I hadn't used this company. Struggling without specs.dont

I had contacted the company to see if they could give me a note of my prescription. I had got glasses from the company on more than one occasion.

Unfortunately I recently had multiple major brain surgeries and o couldn't remember my sign in details or even the email address which. I used. While in hospital my wallet and phone were stolen so I had to buy a new phone and start a new email address and unfortunately my prescription for my glasses was inside my wallet. I messaged select specs and told them my address which hasn't changed and the email address which I thought I was using at the time but they did not get back to me.

I would have thought that with my name and address they would certainly have been able to locate me on their files but they did not get back to me. I also did the same with another glasses company goggles 4 u and they did get back to me and were able to provide me with a copy of my prescription. I only gave them the same details that I gave select specs so if they could do it why couldn't select specs. I was happy with the service that select specs had provided with getting new glasses but I am now thinking that I won't use them again.

It seems they are happy when you are paying them for their service but not interested afterwards. I think that they have now lost a customer and goggles 4 you will be getting contacted soon for new glasses. I think it is terrible given that I am currently recovering from major brain surgeries and they couldn't have cared less.

They could at least have messaged me back and apologized if they couldn't help. I think if one company could help with the same information that I sent them then so could this one but not an apology or anything

Selectspecs - Delayed order

Unfortunately, my experience with the company was not satisfactory. Despite placing an order a month ago, I did not receive any response after sending multiple emails.

I then contacted the company through their chat service 4 times, where I was given excuses, such as: "We have your frame, now waiting for your glass to be ready"

Two week passes by for the next excuse: "We have your glass, now waiting for your frame."

However, even after receiving these responses, I did not receive any updates for another two weeks.

Ultimately, due to the long delay and lack of communication, I had no choice but to cancel my order, and now I am left without the glass I had hoped to receive.

I have returned the glasses and the post tracking says they were delivered the 14/03/21 I called them on the 17th and 18th and they say that they haven't received them so now they are looking for them

Order chasing

I think SelectSpecs realised the world has changed, they sympathise completely with Ukraine, and apologised for advertising on RT television. Anyway, RT has now been stopped in the UK and EU and I trust it will stay closed until Bloodymir Putin is not in power anymore.

7-10 business days , according to the website. Three weeks in and my lenses are still in production. Send an email to coustomer service and the response you get is that they will respond in 5-7 business days. Ordered similar glasses from Warby Parker a few days later , as a precaution. Warby Parker has already shipped. I wouldn't order from here again. There are other online business that are willing to deliver on promises versus just taking your money and making you wait for them.

Can't get past signing in!

Tried to place an order online for the first time. Was required to sign in, but after filling out all required fields, told "incorrect verification, please try again". Tried again, same result. 'Phoned customer service no.for some help (horrendous delay on line) but after explaining the problem twice, she couldn't suggest anything useful and just disconnected! So much for customer service. After that I couldn't be bothered , went off the whole idea and will certainly NOT try to order from them again.

Incorrect order sent

Order number 135**** my glasses order arrived yesterday and I was disappointed to find that they were the incorrect glasses and definitely not my prescription as I couldnt even see through the lenses. I phoned customer services and was asked to submit a photo of the glasses to customer support. I have done this and have been advised by e mail that someone will contact me between 5 to 7 days to discuss. What do I do for reading glasses in the meantime ? I am very upset about this and disappointed.
